Laura Byrne has been known for cutting her own fringe with a pair of kitchen scissors and impressively can pick up just about anything with her feet.
Laura first graced our small screens as a contestant on the 2017 Australian Bachelor reality TV show – where she fell madly in love with Matty J, and together they have two sassy little girls Lola and Marlie-Mae.
Host of one of Australia’s leading podcasts Life Uncut, Laura never shies away from a raw unfiltered conversation, whether it be lifting the lid on the weird stuff your body does during pregnancy, sharing relatable parenting content to dishing out dating advice from many years of lived experience. Life Uncut has won the People’s Choice award at the Australian Podcast Awards 3 years running, and often features in the Australian Radio Ranker top 5 most downloaded podcasts in the country.
In 2022 Laura alongside her business partner Brittany Hockley co-authored the best-selling book WE LOVE LOVE.
Life Uncut has evolved from a podcast into a brand that covers print, radio and live shows – including a hugely successful national tour in 2023. It was also announced in 2023 that Laura was one of the new hosts of KIIS FMs new national afternoon show from 3-4pm every weekday, alongside Britt and Mitch Churi. Laura is a regular panellist on Network 10s The Project, and in 2023 she donned some dancing shoes & sequins to appear in Channel 7’s Dancing with the Stars, Laura also hosted their red-carpet coverage at the 2023 Logie Awards with husband, Matty J.
Laura has garnered a huge online following through her authentic, trusting and relatable content. She has partnered with a number of big brands including The Iconic, Leggos, Skinceuticals, Chemist Warehouse, Redken and Destination NSW.
On top of her flourishing media career Laura is the Founder and Creative Director of one of Australia’s leading bohemian jewellery lines ToniMay. ToniMay is stocked in over 50 retail stores across Australia, and in 2019 she won Fashion Designer of the year at the Cosmopolitan women of the year awards.
