Network 10 television personality Kate Freebairn beams live into lounge rooms across the country nightly, as the weather presenter for 10 News First in Melbourne and Adelaide.
Her warm and bubbly personality is also broadcast on Network 10’s morning program, Studio 10, as a regular contributor crossing live from events as a roving reporter.
Kate is a familiar face to audiences internationally. She co-hosted the TV series X-Venture Family Challenge, which aired on both Three New Zealand and Network 10 in 2019. Filmed in New Zealand’s Bay of Islands, the adventure-based game show put families to the test in an action-packed Trans-Tasman challenge.
Before relocating to Melbourne in 2020, Kate made a name for herself in Adelaide as the go-to host for lifestyle, food and wine, and fashion events. This includes a role as ambassador for Adelaide’s luxury shopping precinct, Burnside Village, where she featured in television commercials and magazine covers. She spent two years as the ambassador for Thoroughbred Racing SA’s Fashion at the Races, as well as working with Vogue magazine for the past three years as the host of its Vogue Festival. Other clients include David Jones and Penfolds.
Kate works closely with Variety – the Children’s Charity – as an ambassador, supporting children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
