Industry veteran, Nicholas Bufalo has more than 30 years’ experience in the Australian entertainment industry, ranging from acting to writing to directing. Nicholas has worked across both screen & stage, covering every genre from comedy, drama, to children’s television.
His acting profile was kickstarted playing Dr Ben Green on A Country Practice for 4 years combined with being a founding member of the iconic D Generation. Other credits included Bingles, Stingers, Prisoner, Special Squad and The Late Show. He also starred as Gino in the feature film Gino. Moving into writing and directing he became known as a performance director, with a keen eye for the visual & an ear for dialogue. Nicholas’ directorial credits include Australian prime time favourites; Packed to the Rafters, All Saints, City Homicide, McLeods Daughter’s and Winners & Losers. He directed for NBC/Matchbox with the show Camp for US TV and Shortland Street in NZ. He has accrued both writing and directing credits on shows such as Rock It, The Wedge. Eagle and Evans, Skithouse, Shock Jock, Sit Down, Shut Up, Offroad, and Totally Full Frontal. He has even directed several Wiggles Productions
In the theatre realm, he’s directed Code Beige (The Melbourne Comedy Show), Midnight Mass (Jigsaw Entertainment) and Over There (Playbox Theatre). He also performed in and directed Picasso at the Lapin Agile
