Jony Berry is an actor, comedian and MC. A proud bi racial man, he is a Melukerdee man from the Palawa Nation and a Portuguese man from the Azores, he is a performer, an activist and educator. Jony has been a working model since childhood, after entering the scene in his junior years he steadily rose to become one of Australia’s most successful Indigenous male models with a career spanning the globe. With a passion for performance, Jony has completed his NIDA Studies in Screen Acting and has a dream to enhance this artistic and creative career path.
Jony has many accolades to his name including Mr Australia 2019, Mr World Australia 2020 and Young Australia of the Year nominee 2022.
Outside of Jony’s performance industry pathways, you will find him working as an activist across with various First Nations engagement roles. Jony continues to use his platform as a model and performer to advocate for causes close to his heart – he truly is a star on the rise.
