Mike Etheridge (Mike E)

Mike Etheridge, or ‘Mike E’ as he’s been better known across radio for the last 20+ years, started his career back in 2010 hosting breakfast on Sydney’s The Edge 96.1, where he quickly resonated with under 30s in Sydney’s west. The following decade saw him and his best mate and former co-host Emma Chow win multiple ACRA awards as their audience and on-air chemistry grew.

Mike E constantly delivers entertaining, opinionated, relatable and brutally honest content. He’s cheeky and not afraid to share his thoughts on anything from politics and social issues to his beloved NRL or men’s mental health.

He later hosted national programs across the Hit Network, broadcasting to major markets including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

In 2026, Mike E launched the podcast Behind the Mic, where he speaks with some of Australia’s biggest podcast stars and audio creators about their careers, creative process and what really happens behind the microphone.

In 2026, Mike E joined ARN Media to host on the KIIS Network and is currently filling in on breakfast for KIIS Sydney and Melbourne.

Beyond the studio, Mike E also works as a media lecturer and regularly provides training and industry workshops for TAFE NSW, helping develop the next generation of broadcasters and content creators through podcasting, communication and on mic performance training.
