Candice Dixon is an Australian television host, journalist and actor. Candice is best known for hosting the Seven Network’s Saturday Disney where she travelled the world to present and produce entertainment and lifestyle segments. Candice also attended various international media junkets and red carpets in England, Brazil and the USA. She has interviewed many celebrities including Hugh Jackman, Ben Stiller, Rebel Wilson, Amanda Seyfried and Ty Burrell.
Candice has also been enlisted as a guest reporter on other Seven shows including The Daily Edition, The Morning Show and Sydney Weekender. She has also presented entertainment segments for Seven Sport during the Autumn Racing Carnival and Magic Millions. During the Melbourne Cup Carnival, Candice hosted the Emirates Stakes Day Fashions on the Field.
Candice was also recently a colour and sports reporter during Seven’s coverage of the Brisbane International and Apia International Sydney tennis tournaments. Additionally, Candice is proud to host Seven’s children’s show Flushed, which is an action-packed game show.
As an actor, Candice has featured in both national and international television shows and movies including Drop Dead Weird, H20: Just Add Water, The Sleepover Club, and Aquamarine. She has also been involved in a number of drama series for Saturday Disney.
Candice’s effervescent personality and strong communication skills have led to a range of ambassador and hosting roles. Candice has represented The Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Schools Program; Brisbane Times City2South presented by Westpac; Planet Ark; Red Nose Day and Jeans for Genes.
Candice’s additional hosting duties include the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Digital Influencer Famil; the Guide Dogs NSW/ACT Puppy Pals Open Day, Sydney’s Kidtopia Festival presented by Qantas Assure and Sydney Festival’s Symphony in the Domain.
Candice completed a Bachelor of Communication at Bond University where she majored in journalism and was selected to be part of the Vice Chancellor’s List of Academic Excellence. As well as this degree, Candice received a Certificate of Communication through the Australian Speech Communication Association.
Candice’s radio experience includes a feature on 2DayFM’s The Scoopla Show as well as regular live crosses for the Gold Coast’s 90.9 Sea FM and 92.5 Gold FM.
Born and raised on the Gold Coast, Candice enjoys movies, travel, beach volleyball and yoga.
